Melvyn, perhaps like me you are suffering from alcohol-induced insomnia!
No that is a lie, I am suffering from insomnia-induced alcohol!
Supposed to be packing books and doing paperwork.

Sorry Melv…

I also reckon Melv’s guess is going to be correct…
Guess?? GUESS????????
I didn’t spend several seconds looking that up on the Rearwin website for it to be called a guess!
Incidentally, the Porterfield is very similar as they were designed by the same chappie.

Without checking any refs, no 1 (2071) is a Seversky (later Republic) and no 4 (2077) is a member of the Ryan family; I’d say a PT-22 jazzed up as a stunt ‘plane.
I also reckon Melv’s guess is going to be correct…
No.3 (2075) looks like a Boeing F4B? or perhaps a Curtiss Hawk?
By: Melvyn Hiscock - 2nd May 2006 at 00:30
The second one is a Rearwin 9000L Sportster currently owned by James Freese in Ukiah, California.
It is the last Sportster mentioned in Eric Rearwin’s list of survivors and next to the oldest surviving Cloudster, whatever that is.

I didn’t know the RAF used Darlek’s as front gunners on Lancaster’s, and the roundels look all wrong! I hope they can get it sorted!!
