I’m after some of these items for a panel project,
Small indicator lamps, rounded glass lens with the ‘night day’ function, I need three green and two amber, preferably the shorter (7mm, 1/4″) shank type.
Press to transmit switch (Dowty Type C.5162.Y), I need two, preferably one with the guard around
it.
Selector switch, preferably two postion (stamped 051-0578), though three postion would also do.
A thousand thank yous in advance:)
James

Just bumping this thread, I have now got two lamps and the two push switches so many thanks to DH112 and JonH for their help.
I’m still desperately after two short amber lamps, and two short version green lamps (as seen in 1st pic), this particular pattern seem really quite hard to find.
Also still looking for the selector switches (2 or 3 way), especially as I have just discovered that my AAR panel needs eight of them!
Thanks again.

Found the spare Dowty Type C.5162.Y switches I have spare – though currently masquerading as Canberra parts 🙂
Any use?

ircraftclocks, yes the switch is made by NSF controls.
I’m still looking for all the above items if anyone finds them during a good rummage:)

051-0578 is the NSN for this switch (5930-99-051-0578). It appears to have been made by lucas orginally.
I got a bit comfused tracing it, but it appears that it’s part number is 26865-2 which is made by NSF controls. The confusing thing is that NSN 5930-01-077-9528 applies to that part number as well.
The other part number associated with the UK NSN is 25C SW41 003 AAA

Thanks chaps, let me know if you do locate the parts, Bruce the Altimeter I need (Mk20C) is for the same project if you unearth it on the way.
DH112 PM on the way.
