Bitsa Mk II gunsight

I have been meaning to ask this a while. I got hold of a Mk II gunsight a while ago on ebay quite cheap as it appears to be a sort of Frankensteins monster bitsa. It’s a Mk II*N but has the ground attack reflector angle adjustment dial for rockets.
I had always assumed that a nightfighter sight with the ground attack reflector could only be a bitsa and that I would have to collect the other correct parts to make a proper one or two. However, whilst looking for info on something else I came across a website that suggested this sight may have been used on something like a Hurricane iid.

Any ideas anyone?
