Black Buck 1 and 2 Refuelling Plans Required

I have seen various copies of these plans but none of them show the Latitude and Longitude of the refuelling brackets any help would be appreciated as the only copy I have found was in a RAF History Journal on line and that is password protected. Data Required for a research project . In addition data on the Vulcan and Victor Fuel Consumption would be appreciated.

Resmoroh. During my airline career I had the privilege of Adolf Galland as a guest on the Flight Deck. (Those were the days when we could take visitors.—Long gone in todays P.C.world).
As best I can I quote ” The reason we lost the War and you guys won was because we made more damn fool mistakes then your lot, and they certainly made plenty.”

Hi All,
According to the History channel Falklands special it was a very ,very close run thing on all fronts perhaps mainly loss of equipment on the sunk container ship ?

Trenchardbrat,
Was there at the time.
Best bet is that you start from Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Black_Buck) and work from there. The thing that made us (Met men there at the time) fall about was that all these calculations of fuel-flow/temp/consumption, etc, etc, were carried out on a calculator bought – so current scuttlebutt has it – on Swaffham Market for pence!!
Makes it more probable that WE didn’t win the Falklands Unpleasantness, THEY lost it, because THEY made more/bigger mistakes than WE did! Or is that not British???

You could try asking via this website http://www.vforcereunion.co.uk/ IIRC in 2010 & 2012 details were being discussed at the reunion event at NAM.
