Another poor piece of drama from the BBC. With a few honourable exceptions both drama and documentary more and more play to the lowest popularist denominator. Not something in which our public broadcaster should take any pride.

aeronut 2008 says it all. Very painful. More like a children’s comic. Very unbecoming of the BBC and in my view a very bad decision to broadcast (although this is not its début) I expect much better and our service men certainly deserved much, much better.

Sterotypical characterisation, cringworthy dialogue, the whole thing dumbed down to a level capable of being understood by a BBC media studies type (Oops I’m being sterotypical now). In other words anyone who has had any contact with the military will find it uncomfortable listening.
