Anna where is a good place to take pics of Wokkas at Odiham?? There a bit high usually when they come over my house enroute to Benson!

Have to agree with 92fis a few country lanes around the base itself, but really not that fantastic for viewing. 😉 Anna

There is a small road around the back of the base you can get some good but distant views of the chinooks. Also there is a small lane which takes you past the other end of the runway where if you are lucky you will see them lifting underslung loads. Other than that it’s not an easy base to view.

I was there just before 12pm for about 45mins 😉 Then Lunch called over to Odiham 😀 😀 😀 Wokka country 😀 😉 😀

Small world this, I popped in Sunday afternoon with my parents on the way back from FAST and stayed to watch for an hour or so, as Anna says the conditions were, er, interesting!! 😀
