Hi All
Had a run to Blackpool to see the in-laws.so called in and got a few shots of the 748’s that are parked up there and a few of the more interesting stuff parked up

For the run to the local gas rigs
These I thought were just in good positions

But this one I have no idea what it is,but I think it looks cool

Oh I See Them Regulary At Westair As It Is Where I Have My Flying Lessons 😛
Was it really worth bumping a three year old thread to say you do your PPL somewhere?

Shame to see engineless Budgies.
Guess not long before none are flying in commercial aviation service.
How many do Emerald have left?
Still flying are G-BGMO, G-BGMN, G-AYIM, G-BVOV, G-BVOU, G-OSOE, G-OPFW, G-SOEI, G-ORCP, G-ORAL, G-ATMJ – 12 I think (off top of ma head). G-OTBA should be back in service in a couple of months. Westair still have a fair few in service as well in Europe, plus Stellair may have one of their own flying Vitoria-Madrid for Spanair (mail contract).
Incidentally it is G-ATMJs 40th birthday on the 20th April, originally delivered to Autair in Luton!

The last shot is a DA42, and this particular one belongs to Diamond Aircraft Ltd. See http://www.diamondair.com/aircraft.php for some lovely internal shots of it.
