Blackpool to Girona

I have just returned from a really enjoyable break in Northern Spain. I got return tickets for just under £100.00 for two adults. The flights were fine with repect to punctuality and both very full, drinks were expensive as expected, but that was my choice to purchase and I took my own snack to eat.

I have never flown from Blackpool before, Liverpool and Manchester are my usual departure airports. I thought Blackpool Airport would be somewhat like LPL prior to expansion, however the airport seemed to stuggle to handle the one flight departing (mine) with slow check-in and little room to cater with the 180 odd passengers in a 737-800. The return was a bit better, bags off quite quick, but not much space for passengers, but not far to walk for the car park. I chose Blackpool because of the flight times, however in the end the Liverpool timings were altered and would have suited as well !!
