Apparently, Bush was under great pressure to invade Iraq immediately after 11/9, but Blair persuaded him to go for Afghanistan first.
How much do you read into this?

I have no idea who to believe, the article seemed like an attempt to spread the word that Bush “isn’t as stupid as he looks”.

a report by “Times” (or similar caliber) magazine a month or two ago said exactly the opposite. According to that article, right after Sept. 11, Blair asked Bush “What about Iraq”…and yes there were some in the US also wanted to aim at Iraq, but Iraq was finally deemed more complex and not really hitting at the #1 most wanted, Osama….where you can say that the #2 man is Saddam….so, i guess it’s from who ever’s propaganda you want to believe more…..
