Blazing Angels 2 Daffy turret problem – Xbox 360

I was on the mission where you steal a bomber in Russia and had a Bf 109 about 100 metres behind on my tail, it was in my turret’s sights but the turret didn’t attack like in multiplayer, does anyone know why this is?
