just as well, could you imagine the white cane tapping he would have to be doing in front of himself as it rolled down the runway

How do you stow away in the undercart? Do you have to hang on as the wheel goes up,down or is there ample space to hide away?
There is room but please don’t try it!!;)

No there is no reference to his being blind.
Remarkable that he survived as had the aircraft been at conventional altitude he would have been a ‘gonner’.

Doesn’t say anything on any news report that I have read about him being blind.

It is a very odd story this one as it was major news and then went quiet, it must of happened as border control and police etc involved, but nowhere can I find where he fell out of the undercarriage bay, how he wasn’t killed in doing so, and why he isn’t being deported?
And for those that believed that he was blind, how do they think he found his way to the aircraft, and the right position to be in when the gear goes up!
