Blogs/Flyins/Links

Hi Guys

If you have any GA blogs/links or want to recommend any flying schools please contact me and I will add them to my homepage. Blogs etc are especially welcome from PPL students to give an idea of how the course progresses (warts and all).

Also any other ideas for content would be very welcome.

Regards

Hi

There seem to be a lot of forums as the lower half of the forums page is a directory of airfields where users can add their local airfield giving details of factilities or links to airlied information etc. These are divided by Country (England/Scotland/Wales) and then by county so users can find and airfield in a location fairly quickly.

The top half of the forums is where the other topics of discusion are placed.

I have now ported the forums over to the VBulletin ones instead of the free phpBB forums which now means that you can collapse categories which should also help with the problem you have mentioned.

I have also placed a poll under general discussion to ask users how they would prefer the layout of the Airfield Directory Area which should help me design it in a more user friendly way.

Many Thanks

Regards

Hi Carl

Looks like it could be a very good website, but you didn’t leave a link to it, so allow me: http://www.ppluk.info/index.htm

Only thing I didn’t like was the hundreds of different forums you have. Going from past experience from running a busy forum, the more sub-forums you have, the less likely you are to get lots of posts.

Great start so far though:)
