Just seen an advert for this a few seconds ago – four documentaries telling the story of how the “bloody foreigners” of the title were an integral part to pivotal moments in British history.
The advert showed much use of Battle of Britain stock footage, so I suspect the third programme in the series might be of some interest.

Ah, cool. I shall remember to watch then!
I’ll admit I didn’t hear whether the programmes were being shown all week – it just came up in the advert “Monday, 9pm”, so went with that!

Yep, Monday to Thursday, mostly 9pm but 8pm on Wednesday.
I really should get out more!

Ah, so are the programmes being shown all week, not weekly??

There’s a good article covering this in this weeks Radio Times..trailing the Tuesday 9pm C4 programme which covers the Northolt Polish squadrons, and features interviews with Franciszek Kornicki and Stanislaw Nawarski. The bad news is that it’ll probably feature lots of desaturated dramatic reconstructions…still, will be worth a watch.
