I never usually visit the airport on Sundays, and if I do it’s never in the morning, not until it warms up anyway! :p
Thanks!

Looks like your getting to grips with the camera a bit more. what happened to the GMP 😉
Next time try getting the sun on the right side (I know u know as you said backlit) and you’ll see a greater improvement over these, just look at the monarch, nice colours and sharp with the sun on its side.
Keep up the practise as you obviously have an eye for a good shot.
Well done
Ian
Agreed, you certainly do have an eye for a good shot! Great pics there Matt, i look forward to seeing more; Monarch is my favourite also!:D

What does backlit mean? 😮
Improved shots! Liking the second Excel one a lot.
It means that you are taking a photo facing into the sun, and the plane looks too dark. It is always best to photo the plane with the sun behind you (lighting up the plane) as you can see with the Monarch.

What does backlit mean? 😮

When a pic is backlit, the sun is shining on the other side of the object (in this case, the plane), if you look at most of the photos, the aircraft seem dark because of this.

Thanks very much!
The shot of GMPB didn’t come out well as I actually took it from inside the car, just seeing how it came out – obviously not good :p
