Just wondering, are bmi going to paint the ex BMED A321’s and A320’s into the proper livery?
Also what is happening to G-MIDZ? It is in storage for some reason.
Also is G-MIDC going to ever be repainted or is it leaving the fleet soon?

Latest “rumour”…
* All BMI A321s to Lufthansa over the next few months (inc mid-haul/ex-BMED and no BD charters next summer)
* Lufthansa parked A300-600Rs to go to BMI for midhaul/replace A321s
* ex-BMI A321s at Lufthansa release Lufthansa 737-300s to bmibaby, firstly to replace scheduled lease returns at WW this winter
* Mid term, ex-Lufthansa 737-300s released as a result of further A32x and Bombardier C-series deliveries to LH also to WW
* Longer term, WW (maybe rebranded, but esssetially LH-low fare airline) gets all 60+ ex LH 737 classics!!

Very dull indeed!
The tail looks half finished.

The Airbus A320 G-MIDZ has been painted in the new TAME livery that got unveiled last month.

Yeah good to hear shes gonna be flying again! 😎
Although such a shame BMI gave her up.
The lease on her had ended anyway, bmi were never going to paint her anyway, hopefully TAME take good care of her. Shame the TAME livery is ugly as sin.
G-MIDC pretty much only does charters, it’s very rarely at Heathrow. G-MIDL also has been spending a lot of time at EMA recently doing charters to the canaries, I flew on her to FUE last year from EMA, not a great experience with no IFE on a 4hr flight. Think the interior on that a/c is pretty dull and old fashioned too.

G-MIDC flew to LGW from MAN this morning and then operated a charter to ACE before reurning and heading off to DLM again. Infact it seems to just operate charters at the minute.

MIDC is around until next year I think.

Just incase any of you were wondering, G-MIDC is still knocking around as she was at MAN yesterday and overnight.

It took off quite early this morning, but I wouldnt know where it was heading to?

G-MIDZ/N934BV is now with TAME over in Equador, it still has the US registration. Good to see her finally getting a new owner.

Second day in service led to her doing a mid-haul run as BD929 to Baku.

Hopefully her second day of service will be a better one! 😎
