BMI Baby Teesside Routes announced

You can imagine how excited I was about this new operation!

The thought of having two based aircraft from October at Teesside serving low cost routes was great, so imagine my disappointment when I heard, BMI Baby’s fourth base would start operations with:

1 daily flight to Belfast.
1 weekly flight (Saturday) to Geneva.
1 weekly flight (Saturday) to Malaga.

Hell, we’re gonna need a new terminal! 😮

More routes and based aircraft will now apparently arrive next year.

Wouldn’t have expected anything more, not exactly an area that needs the greatest capacity boost considering the low cost saturation around the region, the routes mentioned are just supportable for the winter season.

Should have bolstered up other bases such as Manchester, which seems undeserved before they moved into another area such as Teeside. It has taken them not even a year to open up 3 new bases, look how long it took other airlines.

Just my opinion on Bmibaby…
