Given the destinations and dates invovled, it would probably have cost BMI more to run the flights than they would have made on bookings – therefore they would have made a loss on these flights.

I didn’t think PMI operated during the winter TT, or am I thinking of LHR/ALC?
INV didn’t run daily during the winter last year either if I remember correctly.
Am not sure about LYS or VCE though.
There appear to be a lot of TUE/WED rotations there though.

Could be a number of reasons.
Crew shortage i.e Maternity leave etc
Flight deck hours might be limited
Aircraft maintenance
Aircraft shortage
Slot problems
Easyjet at NCL have it alot at the minute with the BRS and STN rotations being cut in the evenings due to Flightdeck being short on hours.
