BOAC 707 and RAF Comet histories please

I’m trying to date a photo (unconnected with aviation) that appears in a collection which includes the following aircraft:

BOAC Boeing 707 G-APFC

RAF Comets XK669 and XK696

Unfortunately the photos all show the aircraft in flight so there are no pointers from ground landmarks, but I think they may have been taken at a Mediterranean airfield, possibly Libya.

If I can find when they were in service that would help me narrow the time-frame of the photo I’m trying to place (although I appreciate it will still be very wide).
