Fred Olivi, co-pilot of Bock’s Car passed away at the age of 82. Bock’s Car was the second B-29 to drop an atomic bomb, the target was Nagasaki.

Fred wrote a good book called ‘Decision at Nagasaki: The Mission That Almost Failed’.

I met him at Oshkosh in 2000 and he signed a copy of his book for me. Sad loss.
