Just been browsing through planepictures.net, and came across this photo:

Maybe I’m missing something but is there a B707 in modern Boeing House company colours in this shot? Anyone know anything more on this aircraft?
Thanks,
Matt.

I am pretty sure I remember reading something about this in a previous edition of Airliner World magazine, but I can’t remember which exact one…but there was a photo.;)

9Q-CLK, although when it was painted last December it wore the registration 9Q-CLT for a few days until the painters corrected the mistake. It was several shades of brown when it arrived in Miami. It has spent many months in the hanger on maintenance so that may explain why there are not many photo’s of it.

So as a Congolese plane, it would be 9Q-??? Surprising there are not more photos available on the web as it would appear to be recently painted.

What a beautiful aircraft it is, too – though the modern colours don’t suit it particularly to my eyes.

It is the Presidential 707 of the Congo. It has been in Miami for some time undergoing maintenance.

Think they did a generation photo shoot sometime last year?
