Apparently for most US corporations running a business into financial ruin is consider “conduct becoming a CEO” so those folks stay around forever. A concentual act done away from work seems to be more than a few can handle.

According to New York Post the firing of Boeings CEO was ordered by Pentagon. The reason was that Stonecipher had access to top secret information and by behaving in such a way that he did, Pentagon completely lost their confidence in Stoneciphers reliability.

What a queer affair! Looks like good friends and companions have just been waiting for something to happen to get rid of Stonecipher. What a BS! Fired because of having an a little f**** now and then. “Conduct not becoming a CEO” or what? BS. Corporate machinations. This is not good for Boeing.
They were looking for an excuse to shove him, it came and they shoved. 😮
Perhaps the new guy has a fly by wire policy or something ? 😀

The Board actions were taken following an investigation by internal and external legal counsel of the facts and circumstances surrounding a personal relationship between Stonecipher and a female executive of the company who did not report directly to him. The Board determined that his actions were inconsistent with Boeing’s Code of Conduct.
