Boeing V Airbus (with a twist)

Boeing V Airbus (with a twist)

We’ve had threads about the superiority of one product over the other until we’re sick to death of them. (BTW I’m not trying to get at anyone here.) However, with the people on this forum being capable of such fantastic livery renditions, I thought it might be interesting to see how say, a livery of an airline operating Boeing products might look on an Airbus product and vice-versa. You guys are far better clued up on which airline has what product and what livery so I’ll leave suggestions to you.

But here’s one to start with. The lovely livery used by BMI on A320 and A330 aircraft transferred to say, to make it interesting, a 727 and a 747?

Let your imaginations run riot.

Regards,

Well done I like that version. Think it should have something on the engine though.
Please dont send it to our esteemed chairman Willie Walsh, probably mess it up like everything else and have to change back to the standard colours after public radio talk shows hang him out to dry again. :dev2:

ZTH-GLA leg was about 4 hours

Ouch!
That creation for EI sure is nice! Tell them to get it slapped on their fleet ASAP. :p

Maybe Sandy will be kind enough to re-publish his new version of the Aer Lingus livery on the 777 template?

It’s a belter ! 😉

Well, with commendation like that… how can I not oblige 😉

Sandy – that tail on the fantasy LH 757 has huge potentcial i think – not to keen on the bird under the forward titles though… but a very nice rendition all the same. I think the colours of Aer Lingus would look alot better on the 777 if they were change – i was thinking when i went to Dublin earlier this year, and saw an Aer lingus A330 how dull the colours looked on it. A livery that, in my opinion is deffinately suited to smaller aircraft.

had Aer Lingus seen the light 😉

Overall, I much prefer Boeing products to Airbus products. I base my opinion on the way each manufacturer’s aircraft looks, since I haven’t a clue about their performance statistics. However, I don’t think the Aer Lingus colour scheme looks at all good on a 777. Leave it on the A330 I say.
