interesting idea – the undercarriage would probably collapse, and anyway – it doesn’t really suit Boeings ideas does it (?) i.e. small-medium sized sub sonic efficient jets.
(maybe it would look better with a slightly more interesting livery)

Just use four 777 Trent Engines and she be flying literally!

If they actually USE the space then they could hold over 600 instead of the 550 airbus are giving “extra room”!!

Aparently they tried to sell easyJet one!!

as much as i want to see a boeing competitor for the a380, that is not the soloution, the bulkyness is just unappealing to my senses, i’d much rahter see an all new aircraft such as a 797 then a 700 edition of such a lovely aircraft!

yuck!

What an ugly thing. I think the market doesnt need two choices for such a big airliner, there is already such a low demand for the a380.
I even dont believe airbus can earn it expenses with the a380 back by selling them. How many orders are placed by now? something like 150?
How much were the orders for the 744 in 1988? It propably was more than the a380 has now. Nope, nothing ahs more demand than the boeing 7e7, in 60-70 years we well be out of oil and the 7e7 is one way to slow it down. Air travel is propably one of the biggest oil users, isnt ot? does someone has a graph or something about it?

Brilliant, this what I suggested Boeing build instead of the 7E7, looks great.

but it wont be feasible…i bet the current engnes cant carry a double load…..they need a bigger power house, hence a whole new design frame.
