looking for some help on a bomb rack we have in the Museum’s collection –
‘Carrier EM./EF 100/1000lb REF 11/A/3207
DRG No ARM31219 ‘WD Arrow’
R.B.P./1050
RBP715 6-49′
The 6-49 is a date on a mod plate so we have an idea of its age
Would this be of the right ‘type’ for a WW2 fighter and if so what? Particularly wondering if it might be suitable for a Hurricane….

Many thanks Ian, it has the postwar ‘vibe’ (notwithstanding the date!) but it arrived attached to a wartime 250 pounder so we werent sure…

Sounds more like the late war/post war Avro bomb carrier, something which I always associate (possibly wrongly) with the Canberra, etc.
