Bomb shackle

Guys, not sure if this is the right place…. I need a B-10 bomb shackle suitable for a US 500 lb bomb for a museum display. Does anybody have one for sale, preferably in the UK?
Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the welcome, I’ve come across your name in the past flying in to Old Buck! Wonder if we’re related?

😮 I hope not, one’s more than enough. There wouldn’t be enough food in the world for two DB’s 🙂

Rocketeer,

yes its the stainless one, about 15″ long, and yes, I would have the A-2 release unit as well as I would like to hang the bomb from a section of racking. Do you have? Can i buy….?

Adrian

tankbarrell, pm me and I may be able to help with genuine B17 items.

Now prepare for the ensuing ribbing from the likes of DBW at al in Norfolk….

Thanks for that Graham, I’ll see if it’s still available. I’m sure they must be around over here too though.

Hi Adrian,

I did have one, but I donated that to another Suffolk museum (the 388th BG at Market Weston) before I left the UK!

There’s one for sale (in the US) for 55 USD on:
