As someone who works for the publisher of this series, I can say with a certain amount of authority that a CD Rom version of this series will remain very unlikely for the forseeable future.

Sales of CD Rom versions of any publications are very small indeed – enough to warrent the idea unprofitable. As Kev quite rightly points out, even in this age of technology, people still prefer the printed format by far. This will probably remain the case for many years to come. Admittedly, collecting the whole collection is no cheap affair – but the second hand section at Midland Counties frequently has copies at a far cheaper price.

I don’t believe it is. I have to say that as someone on an extremely limited budget it has taken me five years to collect the series and it was worth every single penny.The internet and CD ROMS and the like are excellent resources but for me personally nothing beats the satisfaction of getting the paper copy off the shelf, but maybe that’s just me.

I’m sure there are people on here with access to BCL who would be willing to help you with your research. If your research proves to be extensive, then I am sure you can hire researchers to do the job for you.
