After reading this
The Bomber Command Memorial is not only for his comrades that did not make it to see the end of WWII.
It is also for men like this man that help modern day veterans with PTSD.
He had one of the most dangerouse jobs on a wartime Bomber (tail gunner) life expectancy 5-10 missions if that.
This man must have done 50+ missions to get his DFC.

Agreed.There are not enough ex service people willing to do that . I found that one of the hardest things about leaving the forces was to adjust to being a civvy again. I suppose that’s natural when you find yourself at 40(+) years old leaving the only job you’ve known since you left school.
