Bombs Found at Duxford-based P-47 Crash Site in Kent

Two x UXBs have been found and detonated at the crash site of a Duxford based 78th FG aircraft lost on 10 June in a mid-air collision.

This relates to the first bomb detonated. Another was dealt with yesterday:

No, not found during the road building operations – although very close to that, and in the same vicinity.

The A21 is being widened in that area (at last, only 20 years late!) I expect that disturbed them?
