Bon Voyage b55mused

Bad start for Sandy..aircraft 1 hour late arriving at EDI
and 1 hour 23 minutes leaving…weather exceedingly
mucky. 🙁 Two pics, one on backtrack and the other
on take-off run.

I don’t think it would be a bad start for Sandy at all! You can just imagine him sitting at the terminal window drooling at the B757 parked outside lol

I was drooling indeed.

Didn’t manage to get a snap of it though. I was at gate 3. This has an internal wall that is 10 foot from the terminal wall. So the reflections from the 2 layers of glass o nthe outer wall and the 1 layers of glass from the internal wall made phots impossible 🙁

Yo ho all
tis I, live from the bahamas!

Well let me tell ya.. CO are the airline to fly with! Excellent service. Very efficient ground services and friendly staff throughout.

Arrived in EWR 90mins late… my connecting flight to Fort Lauderdale was on the runway as I deplaned 😮

No matter… after a short wait at customs and immigration I was sheparded toward a connection desk where I was re-booked onto a flight to West Palm Beach. From there I was booked onto an 8pm flight to Nassau.

The connecting flight from Palm beach to Nassau was a blast. I was the only passenger! So I had a good chat with the pilots. There was a frightening incident on approach to NAS, I’ll detail this in my flight report when I return in around 24 hours.

Its hot `n` sticky here. The water is warm and the food is good! Hotel is comfortable… a king sized bed for myself 🙂 and air conditioning.

I have photos aplenty of the journey including photos of all inflight meals.

So… I’ll se ya’ll when I get back.

Thanx for the photos joe. I was looking out for you… I took a photo of someone in a green coat photographing my plane. Was that you? I think I was looking out of the 4th window from the back, maybe the 5th. I booked to sit mi nthe seat in front on the way back.. so I’ll count.

see ya’ll soon

Looks like he’ll have a bit more breathing space on the way back, not as booked up as the outbound.

He may even get an upgrade! 😎

Let’s assume he arrived at EDI around 0730 and boarded
at 1030…..3 hours Airside! 😀 😀

So he was either fast asleep or in one of the rear lavatories dispensing of IPA ?

I doubt he would miss the views of EDI’s new full length taxiways nearing completion. 😀

31A is the fourth row from the back.

so, er, I’d suggest that Sandy’s waving is obscured by the wing.

He said he was seated in 31A going and 30A coming back I think it was.
Biz class, as usual, was 100% full on his flight.
Nice pics, but you could just see a break in the super weather coming, couldn’t you? 😉

Sandy can pinpoint the windows when he gets back!
Break in the weather? The sun has just come through in Livingston.. 1402 hrs… :dev2:
