Book Launch, April 15th, Brooklands

As some of you know a book titled ‘Wise Without eyes’ the history of 37 Squadron is being published and officially launched at Brooklands, in front of the Loch Ness Wellington, on April 15th this year in the presence of Wing Commander K. W. Wallis.

I hereby cordially invite all members who are in the area or have a passing interest to attend. A chance to meet for old and new members of the Forum at a venue not previously visited. Further information can be obtained by following the link at the bottom of the page.

I hope this post is not treading on people’s toes. The whole purpose of this work is to honour the men of 37 Squadron and the Founder of the 37 Squadron Association. A lot of work has gone into this project to tell a long overdue story. I can only hope that those who take the opportunity to read it find my efforts worthy.

Kind Regards,

kev35

You stopping at Popham on the way then Rob?

Now now, I nearly have enough paper and I did burn some dinosaurs for you on your birthday.

It’s a very good excuse to visit a very nice museum again.

Well if you are going I may have to rethink . . .

Well Kev,

Since I may have nothing better to do that day I might grace you with my presence. I was planning to watch some paint dry but I did that in a fit of excitement yesterday.

I am only coming so that I can be rude to you in the flesh as you have not been down to Popham for a proper slagging . . .

(Seriously well done on the book but don’t you DARE tell anyone I said that)

Yippeee – something happening at a venue I can reach by public transport.

Kev, I would love to come along, the only problem being that it’s during the week. If I can get a mother-sitter for the day, then I will be there. I will let you know nearer the date.

Geoff.

Well done Kev.

I’m sorry I can’t be there. But I’m sure you’ll do very well.

Good luck, I’m sure there’ll be quite a few 37 ‘ghosts’ there too.

Cheers

Treading on toes? Not at all.
Are your efforts worthy? Without a shadow of a doubt.

Kev, I’d be deeply honoured to attend, as I’m sure will many others.

Well done mate, I know how much this has meant to you, and I’m delighted for you.

Steve
