Maintenance
Try and get a copy of ‘Maintenance’ issued by the Air Ministry (AHB) in 1954 which covers the 1939-1945 period and has over 500 pages.

An old work colleague used to paint various things at Hartlebury in the 60,s,he said one warehouse was stacked to the rafters with Irvine flying jackets.
All sites now are thriving industrial estates,Hartlebury has still got some original RAF style buildings outside the perimeter,in rather poor condition.
the guard rooms are all used as site receptions and are in great order.
Last year i had to go to a job at the Sandy lane,Stourport site that was i believe the emergency/reserve aviation fuel depot, with traces of wartime signs, unfortunatly they would,nt let me have any.
The depot is still in use as a fuel depot for Callow fuels.
Rushock is a grain store.
Maybe i should write the book?.

I used to work on the one at Cutnall Green (Long after the RAF had departed). We took over the magazine, a Maycrete hut for the offices and a brick built hut for our storeroom
