A photo was posted on the Bottisham museum web page https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151795307386787&set=gm.701746129856560&type=1&theater showing the groundcrew with “their” aircraft and pilot.
We always seem to hear from the pilot or about the pilot but the ground crew must have suffered from the loss of their plane and pilot, bonds made and broken.
Are there any books from the ground crews point of view or online reading from their perspective.
Cheers 🙂

One of the best things about the old Ian Allen Publishing At War series is that each title includes first-person accounts from the ground crews that serviced each aircraft in the series.

Haven’t read them, have both found with bookfinder dot com:
Fred Adkin “From the Ground Up. A History of R.A.F. Ground Crew”
Fred Adkin “Through the Hangar Doors RAF Ground Crew Since 1945”
