Hi everyone, Ive currently been building my book collection but have reached a dead end. I’m looking for things along the lines of wreck recovery, restorations and surviving warbirds. I’ve recently got hidden warbirds 1 and 2 which were fantastic and have the more popular survivor books such as the hurricanes, spitfires and ww1 books any suggestions for more?

You mention you have the books for popular types…so you might have this one: Lancaster Survivors by Glenn White, MMP books 2010. While not my favorite book of the genre, it does do a good job at telling you what’s where.
This is a bit old and is obviously out of date for the latest happenings, but since many are in museums many remain in place and for those that have moved on it provides interesting background….Mosquito Survivors by Stuart Howe, Aston 1986.
And finally if you’re into something non-UK (horrors!), Final Cut (B-17) by Scott Thompson. It’s gone through four editions with a fifth in the works. Originally published by Pictorial Histories Publishing in 1990, 2000, 2009, 2011. Very well written and researched with many periods photos of the aircraft. If features the fliers and static examples.
