Books for collecting aviation memorabilia

Anyone know of any published books for collecting aviation artefacts or memorabilia? I am aware that Ian Allen published a paperback some years back. I have come across Millers collectables books which often includes a couple of pages each year to aviation apparel. The only other book I have come across is a French book devoted to this subject named “Objets de l’aviation a collectionner’ although I don’t speak French Its fortunate that this book is blessed who lots of colour photos of aviation posters, models, vintage flight gear, instruments, stick grips etc. Just wondered if there were other publications out there?

[QUOTE=Lincoln 7;1942066 I don’t know why, but the American sellers always wanted twice as much for their collectables than any other Country.

Its because they earn 3 times as much as the rest of the world and want twice as much for thier money and certainly get value for money.

There might be another in due course….;)

I will look forward to any new publication!
An interest in aircraft and collecting aviation memorabilia seem to go hand in hand with a lot of people. Always thought it would be a good avenue for the monthly magazines to explore and possibly devout a page in their magazines to collecting. A number of mainstream aviation magazines already on a regular basis have the odd page covering aviation books, models, flight sim programmes etc, would be good and interesting to see a page on collecting bits and pieces etc

At the end of the day, I find that pricing up memorabillia for books is in the main, mis leading to say the least. Surely the price depends on what one is willing to pay, and condition of said item.etc.
Most items are priced up from similar items sold through leading Auction Houses throughout the world.
This is what I found out when collecting Lighthouse memorabillia, I don’t know why, but the American sellers always wanted twice as much for their collectables than any other Country.
