Borås today

Borås is a little Swedish town south of Gothenburg that holds an air show every year.
I managed to get there for the morning half of the show today, and found the Spitfire Mk XVIe RW386 (now registered SE-BIR) that Biltema recently acquired in the static, next to P51D Cavalier Mustang 44-10753. Unfortunately I had to leave before the Spitfire flew, but did manage to get this picture of the Mustang taking off.
We also had a display from one of the Hunters from Såtenäs, which stood in for a Draken that was grounded by a technical fault.
All in all a very nice little air show, which was very well attended but a bit pricey at 10 quid each (or is that cheap compared to the UK?). Mind you, parking was a bit of a shambles and a good 15 minutes walk away from the airfield (called Viared for those of you in the GA community).

Well, all you need is a half-decent excuse and a camera that looks more professional than it is 😉
Photos will come, patience, patience…

As we English people say – Daniel is a jammy bu99er to get all those air-to-air trips!
