A few shots from my recent trips to Boscombe Down
First off the 17th March

Deathly dull civvie….or not, you decide.

A long way away and crap quality, but a nice surprise nonetheless. I left after it departed, I bet when it returned it flew right past where I was standing.

Bump
I’d really like to know the answer to WP840’s question as well.
Can I assume you might have been at the southern end of the main runway?
Might see you there sometime…
Cheers,
John

G-DOSC is known by the MoD as ZA181. Its sister aircraft ZA179 & ZA180 are currently in Kuwait on ops. They were known as G-DOSA & G-DOSB. I believe that DOSA & DOSB now carry military marks.

Oh boy, someone really hit G-DOSC with the ugly stick, didn’t they?

Sorry but an Alpha Jet and Mi-8 in RAF markings don’t seem right somehow.

I only live a couple of miles from Boscombe and I don’t see this many aircraft in a month!
Love the paint scheme of the BAC 1-11.

A lot of high quality pictures of many different aircraft in your recent 3 posts. Thanks for sharing.
