Popped into Bournemouth Museums new home today – nice to get up close with the Hunter, Canberra cockpit etc again, usual friendly guys there – a nice touch, they have a double decker parked up so you can see across into the airport.

Saw a Hawk do some fly bys (OK, the Buzz Lightyear crowd on the modern forum will enjoy that) and one of the Falcons dropped his target droge onto the airfield for checking etc.

As a plus for us family types, it sits next to an “adventure world” so it wasn’t a totally selfish day out either – that said, even my little girl was happy clambering in and out of the cockpits that they (very thoughtfully) have open. They have lost most of what was displayed indoors (diaramas etc) but if you down that way, do pop in.

Great to see them back up and running.
