Seen today at Hurn were the Venoms that have been over by Europeans for many years were being loaded on a lorry. Looks like some have allready gone, any ideas to where? When did these last fly, can’t be in too good a condition?

I understand all departed in large pieces on the back of a lo-loader this afternoon. Bucc departed a good while ago.

I think the others are being moved by the scrap dealers that own them. The fact that they have been dismantled suggests that scrap is not yet their fate.

There was mention of the moves on the forum a short time ago, apparently they’re going to a collection in Ireland.
