The 1 issue is what would happen when you came to a runway exit.
Mount the rail into the ground like trams on roads then make sure it is always at a specific location during non-use so aircraft dont roll over it.

Should be easy to implement as they, renfrew im sure can confirm, use this at football matches (a camera on a track) to follow action. Im sure it would be a similar but smaller system?

Amazing considering the guy is only 12. Would be a very worthwhile investment for any airport, maybe even more so at the busier airports such as Heathrow or even Charles-de-Gaulle where that doomed Concorde departed from.
