My Father informs me that a couple of years ago, the Shuttleworth Collection were trying to buy the above aircraft from Sri Lanka.
What came of this deal, and does anyone have any pics of the Balliol in question, please?

Saw two Balliols there in January – in superb nick – there had been a bombing in Columbo so I wasnt allowed to take any pics (despite getting permission months in advance) grrr
