Brake unit ID please

I’d be grateful if someone could ID a brake unit I’ve had for far too long : 27G/4007, Pt No AH8138.
Is brand new, complete and appears to be dated 1951.

Thanks WP. I guess I’ll put it back on the shelf alongside the chocolate teapot.
When I meet up with the chap that sold it to me on eBay as a Spitfire unit I’ll stick it somewhere dark.
