if its a decent walk through exhibit, or a cockpit for younger generations to play with, that cant be a bad thing. Not of course that you climb into a Canberra cockpit and find adults making engine noises, and even machine gun sounds while gleefully playing with the controls 😉

The first sentence of that article put me off right away. 5 airframes have flown not one.
I don’t disagree that it is a staggering waste of money though. Are airframes really offered to museums? Who on earth would want one anyway? It only signifies engineering mismanagement and political uselessness.
