Branscombe Airshow 31/07/05

Found this show last year by chance through someone off this board and had an excellent afternoon, this year’s event is on Sunday but the website does not have any info about what’s due to display etc. Anyone on the board know of anything heading down to Devon on Sunday?

Regards
Nick

Yep – I’m wondering if they felt a little overwhelmed last year – as there was a little bit more info – although thinking about it – that was only what we could glean from a flyer that had been posted on the web.

Still, I can’t afford to go any further really – so I’ll be taking my chances. A Harvard, Mustang, a rumoured Spit and Chippie are better than nothing.

Don’t get caught out going all the way round the back of the airfield this year, as I did last.

Come to think of it, I remembered flashing past a sign on the A303 last weekend – didn’t stop to read it though.

I’ve only heard that a Harvard & Mustang are due and a rumored Spitfire, the RNHF have a Chipmuck down for the fly in, but I cannot find anything confirmed the site does not say muchhttp://www.sky4aviation.co.uk/sky4/index.html

It was well worth the trip last year.
