My first ever visit to Breighton and Davski was right, I loved it. Here is the first batch of many photos. I’ll post the rest tomorrow as I’m off out in a minute.
Before the display.

Buchon & Spit
Hi Bazza
You’ve probably got better but I quite like this one I took on the Sunday.
Thanks for the info on the Buchons carb probs!

Did anyone get any decent shots of the Spitfire and Buchon flying together on Sunday at Breighton?

Looks like a must-visit-next-year! The landing shots are wonderful, as are some of the artsy wide angle ground shot. I particular like this one – hiding that ugly cowling: http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/attachment.php?attachmentid=134239
Something went wrong with the aliasing though?

Thanks for that, there were no pa speakers down where I was stood so I didn’t hear who was flying what.

Alister Kaye flew 434 on Saturday.

Last lot.
One of the reasons for my trip to Breighton

The day for me finished with the WW1 display team along with Breightons Fokker Dr1.

Will definitely be going to this show again. I understand that the Sunday was better. Well done all. And all for just £10.

…..Wonder how you got the high level shot of the 109 ? !!
very arty indeed …..
( go4b17 )
I have very long arms and legs!
That’s why my 4th 109 picture looks like it could be air to air; I was that tall!

Fabby! 🙂
I cannot get enough of these Buchon shots! I love the way the sunlight makes the top surface camouflage lighter on it.

Nice pictures, although sometimes they appear a bit ‘green’. Is the white balance setting correct?
I love the Harvard formation though.

Nice photos, I’ll add more of mine tomorrow. Should be a good day tomorrow, the Matadors are there tomorrow, one of my fave acts, but I’m busy doing other things tomorrow.

Superb series of photos there. I would love to come tomorrow but i cant afford it.

Last pictures, Spitfire MH434.
I took about 570 photos today, so I’ve had to thin them down a bit!
There seemed to be quite a lot of public there, but even so, I had about 20 feet of crowd barrier to myself, until I bumped into ‘go4fort’ ( Ron Leigh ), so we didn’t have any trouble getting people, hat and tannoy free pictures.
Worth a visit tomorrow if you’re within a couple of hours drive of the field.
Steve
PS and I almost forgot to mention that the sun was behind me the whole day!
