Given this morning forecast I was in two minds whether there would be any flying at Breighton at all, but decided to go anyway.
Still raining when I arrived (Damien and Chris certainly got the best day judging by their excellent sets of photos from Saturday!), but flying was already starting. I sheltered in a hanger, attempting to keep the camera dry and photograph Janie and Big Beautiful Doll as they went through their start up checks and taxied out.
The weather soon dried up enough for me to risk the camera outside, and flying continued non stop until I left about five o clock – what excellent value, great photo opportunities and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Anyhow my attempts from the day.

Cheers everyone, – Skybolt, think most owners were in the same situation as you, a lot less day visitors flying in than when I visited in May.
One more piccie, shame about the grey overcast, this one might have looked ok with a nice blue sky.

Looks like a magic event. Pity the weather was crap in the Midlands otherwise I was tempted to fly up from Leicester.
Perhaps next year.
Cheers,
