Hi All,
I was contacted by Chris Deere the great Nephew of Air Commodore Al Deere with the view to produce a painting for his Father Brendon. Brendon Deere is the Nephew of Al Deere and will pilot the reconstructed MKIX Supermarine Spitfire in Al’s markings.
Chris and I discussed several options and It was decided that the painting should show Brendon Deere taking PV 270 in the markings and colours of Al Deere’s original Supermarine Spitfire on it’s maiden flight over his home town of Waitarere in New Zealand.

The presentation has taken place in London.
I spent the evening with Brendon and Chris Deere in London. I must say I was a honour to meet Brendon, he’s a really nice chap.
Brendon is now on his way back to New Zealand as we speak,
