I have just returned home from my first visit to Sywell in 25 years. What a great show. Biplane heaven.The airfield is so well kept and the period buildings just perfect. A fine professional commentary from the Flypast events team, restrained and informative, no blaring music to interrupt the proceedings and no clattering fun fair in the background. Yet they still had a full house. Airshow organisers should be compelled to attend and see how it should be done.
A hearty well done to all concerned!
How did they also arrange a perfect sunny day? Shame that the event only occurs every two years.
