Has anyone got any interior photographs of the Beaufort cockpit or indeed, any part of the interior?
Yes, I’m on about those seats again we couldn’t identify here –

Just found some poor images, the Wellington has armrests and subsantial raising gear, though of course these could be missing from your seat.
I thought they looked wrong even for bomber type seats which tend to be more sparse, and buckety, but the Whimpy and Beau ones are very similar to what you have – I’m ready to eat my hat!

Thanks pagen, although my ‘knowledgable source’ was Mark Evans of Wellington Z1206 fame, so we are certain they are not Wellington, although similar

I’ve got pics of the seat fitted in the Wellington at Brooklands, will try and dig them out.

Those seats don’t look like anything that would be fitted to a combat aircraft, especially in the cockpit area.
I am led to believe by a very knowledgable source it is quite similar to the pilots seat in a Wellington, albeit with slimmer padding.
wieesso – it was that bottom photograph that got me interested in the first instance, the base looks familiar to the one we have, top seat back however – does not.
