RH798 never participated in an SBAC show. Its only public appearance was at Thorney Island’s Battle of Britain show on 15 September 1956, but it was at Blackbushe in Farnborough week the following year, so may well have nipped over to Farnborough (if that’s where it was taken).

Nice pic of RH798, I think its at the RAE Farnborough and it took part in one of the early SBAC shows?
I think you are right, looks like Farnborough to me too. I think the dark square above the port wing is the clock tower on one of the buildings at the North eastern end of the main runway. The shallow gradient of the ground would also fit in with this.
