Bristol Fighter

Hi all,

Went to the Shuttleworth Evening Display this weekend, which despite lovely English summer weather was a rather pleasant affair. Very nice formation of Hind and Hurricane was evening highlight.

The commentator made an interesting comment on the Bristol fighter which I am curious about. He said (more or less) “one of three airworthy ones in this country, soon to be two as one has been sold to Peter Jackson and will be going to New Zealand”.

This may have been raised before – I did try a search but couldn’t see anything – but poses 2 questions.
1/ Is there 3 airworthy now. Know about Shuttleworths and TFC’s of course. I would imagine the third is the Historic Aircraft Collections. Has this now flown?
2/ Which one has been sold?

BTW for those interested seen in Hangar 1 at Old Warden was a set of 3 red wings with suspicious black and white markings on!
